Description:

The term 'enfiro' was borrwed from the English word 'environment' in the late early period, and has the sense of environment when talking about its wellbeing and stewardship, as well as being the preferred scientific term. A number of variants were seen early on, typically longer borrowings, but the modern form bears the hallmarks of modern Hogh Common's preference to strip off perceived derivational affixes. The modifier form 'enfiros' means 'environmental' and can also be a term of approval to say that something is responsible or good for the environment.
